At this year's 26th International Economic Fair in Mostar, Nuić Winery and Ilok Traminac emerged as gold medal winners. The event saw around 100 wine samples from Herzegovina and the surrounding region, showcasing exceptionally high-quality wines.

The absolute champion of the fair was Ilok Traminac with its 2019 berry selection harvest. In the category of best wines of the Žilavka and Blatina varieties, Nuić Winery triumphed with its Žilavka vintage 2024 and Blatina “Barrique” vintage 20212. Additionally, Nuić Winery's Blatina also secured a gold.

The awards were presented by Dalfina Bošnjak, director of the Mostar Fair, and Prof. Dr. Bernard Kozina, president of the wine judging committee. The awarding program was hosted by Mia Martina Barbarić, with singer Ivona Jukić providing a musical performance.

This year's wine judging set high standards, with no samples exhibiting technical defects, which is considered a significant achievement. Prof. Dr. Kozina noted that producers submitted only their best wines, indicating substantial progress in the quality of domestic wines. He added that the competition has become one of the most relevant in the region.

The fair organizers emphasized the continuous development of the Mostar Wine Judging, highlighting the high competitiveness of wines from this area on the global market. They announced further development of this event.
