Wine enthusiasts are in for a treat in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the upcoming "Sarajevo Wine Fest." This prominent wine and gastronomy festival will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 6th and 7th, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the congress hall of the Sarajevo hotel "Radon Plaza."
SARAJEVO WINE FEST 2025
"Everything is set for the 'Sarajevo Wine Fest.' For years, the festival has been a gathering point for wine lovers, gastronomy enthusiasts, and industry professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and around the world. This year marks the festival's 18th anniversary, and we've prepared numerous surprises for all attendees. By all accounts, this will be the largest edition of the festival, featuring 70 exhibitors from both domestic and international locations, showcasing over 290 top labels. In addition to the extensive wine selection, visitors can also enjoy a variety of cheeses, olive oil, meat products, and pastries. This event attracts more than 1,500 visitors annually, and given the significant anniversary, we expect an even higher turnout, possibly a record," say the organizers of the "Sarajevo Wine Fest."
The festival will also include several wine and professional workshops, providing exhibitors and visitors with opportunities to enhance their wine knowledge and enjoyment.
"As in previous years, 'Sarajevo Wine Fest' will be the perfect blend of wine hedonism, education, and entertainment, with several new features. For the first time, the festival will host the 'BIZ2BIZ' (B2B) project tomorrow from 4 to 6 p.m., allowing caterers, managers, and restaurant and hotel owners in Sarajevo to interact with exhibitors. On the second day of the festival, Friday at 6 p.m., a wine workshop titled 'Sparkling Wines of Bregovita Hrvatska' will be held, led by the Bregovita Hrvatska Association," the organizers claim.
Admission to the wine workshop is free for all festival visitors. Tickets for the festival can be purchased through the online ticket sales system Entrio.ba, or on the days of the festival at the entrance. A one-day ticket costs 50 KM, while a two-day ticket (covering both days) is priced at 80 KM. The organizer has arranged free bus transportation from the Town Hall to the Radon Plaza Hotel, with stops at all bus stops along the route. The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian Business Club, the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board, Garden City, the FBiH Development Bank, and Leda.
